Introduction to Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT)
According to the annual analyses of data published by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, for the past decade, Loss of Control–In flight (LOC-I) has been the leading cause of commercial airline fatalities worldwide. The required international response is a comprehensive and integrated approach to train pilots in flight path management, upset awareness, recognition and avoidance, as well as recovery skills to mitigate LOC-I events.
Aviation Australia’s 2 day UPRT introductory course is specifically designed for airline pilots and covers the theoretical knowledge as well as the practical techniques of Upset Prevention and Recovery specified by ICAO in ICAO Doc10011 and (PANS Training).
The course is limited to small numbers, so participants can gain the maximum benefit from personal interaction with our experienced airline instructors.
