Health Advice – Novel Coronavirus
We take the safety of our staff and students seriously.
On 29 January 2020, Queensland Health issued new public health advice to people who have travelled to China including Hong Kong.
To mitigate the potential spread of the novel coronavirus, Queensland Health has requested that anyone who has travelled to China (including Hong Kong) take proactive self-isolation measures and not attend work or study on-campus for 14 days after leaving the country.
Additionally, if you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus, you are requested to self-isolate for 14 days following the last exposure.
You should not come to campus if you fit either of the above scenarios.
Students, please contact your teacher to inform them if you are unable to attend class or contact us on 07 3860 0900. If you do need to take leave from study, you will not be disadvantaged.View news archive
