Aviation Australia’s Composite Repair Techniques course (AA-63) has been designed to provide AME, LAME and Airline/MRO employees and contractors with the underpinning knowledge and practical skills required to undertake composite repairs on aircraft and components (as identified in 7A.1 of CAO 100.5 and/or CASR Part 145 MOS Para. 145.A.30) to achieve competency in MEA405 – Repair/modify aircraft composite material structure/components.

Aviation Australia’s training utilises the latest in composite manufacturing and repair equipment including hot bonders, pre-impregnated materials and a dedicated composite workshop/cleanroom.

NOTE:  Eligibility requirement – candidates will need to hold either a CASR Part 66 B1 aircraft engineers licence and/or an AQF qualification(s) that contain the unit of competency “MEA401 – Inspect Aircraft Structure”
