Boeing Defence awards Scholarship in Cairns
Boeing Defence Australia has awarded a scholarship to another one of Aviation Australia’s students last week. The program was created by Boeing to help support the development of skills to ensure the next generation of aviation recruits will be highly recognised for their training.
Aiden Scott, one of Aviation Australia’s avionics students in Cairns, was awarded the Boeing Scholarship last week. The scholarship helps towards the costs of the training required to begin an aviation career in aircraft maintenance.
Scholarship recipients are selected based off specific requirements set by Boeing. The Certificate IV in Aeroskills qualification is the foundation of their career as apprentices in the industry, following through to their diploma and onto a maintenance engineers licence.
Aviation Australia is committed to being the leading provider of aviation training, dedicated in providing future generations of aircraft maintenance engineers with industry recognised training.
On behalf of Boeing Defence Australia and Aviation Australia we would like to congratulate Aiden on being selected for the scholarship and can’t wait to see what he can achieve in his future studies and aviation career.
