Boeing Defence Australia awards two Aviation Australia students scholarships
Two Aviation Australia students were awarded with a Boeing Defence Australia Scholarship in Brisbane, helping towards the costs of the training required to begin an aviation career in aircraft maintenance.
Benjamin Pitt and Murray Jones were the lucky recipients, and have been recognised for their potential to become outstanding and passionate aircraft maintenance engineers.
The scholarships were awarded by Boeing Defence Australia as part of their commitment to developing the skills of the next generation of aviation personnel. Applicants had to first apply and then were chosen based off specific requirements set by Boeing.
The Certificate IV in Aeroskills qualification is the foundation of their employment as apprentices in the industry, and then towards their diploma and a maintenance engineers licence.
Aviation Australia is committed to being a leading provider of aviation training, dedicated in providing future generations of aircraft maintenance engineers with industry recognised training.
On behalf of Boeing Defence Australia and Aviation Australia we congratulate Benjamin and Murray on being selected for the scholarships and wish them all the best in their future studies and careers in aviation.View news archive
