Aviation Discussion Forum – Skills Shortages and the Future of Aviation Training
We keep hearing about the shortage of skilled personnel in the aviation and aerospace industry, especially pilots and aircraft maintenance engineers. What do employers see as the key issues in attracting skilled staff? How are they and the Government addressing the skills shortages into the future? And what can you do to develop a successful career in aviation?
There’s a stellar line up of speakers to examine the topic including Shannon Fentiman, MP, Charlotte Abbot and Leif Mawson from Qantas, Mike Higgins from the RAAA, Troy Scott from Alliance Airlines and Air Commodore Sue McGready CSC from Defence. All under the guidance of moderator Steve Gibbons from Australian Aviation Magazine. This is an event not to be missed!
