Aviation Australia Staff Awards 2019
Aviation Australia’s 2019 Annual Staff Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions made individually and collectively by employees and teams. This year there were three awards including Outstanding Performer – Services and Support, Outstanding Performer – Operational Delivery and the Great Service Award. Staff were invited to nominate staff members and/or teams who embodied Aviation Australia’s core values. There were two outstanding individuals who excelled.
Jill Bonnar, Technical Training & Industry Sales Lead, managed to take out two categories – Outstanding Performer – Services and Support and the Great Service Award.
Jill is the first point of contact for engineering industry enquiries for those looking to upskill, transition their licence or undertake Recognition of Prior Learning and provides a high level of customer service. She is excellent at collaborating with individuals and team members to ensure she’s providing the most up to date and correct information to our customers.
Her thorough explanations of complex technical issues and calm and patient demeanour really help our customers understand the requirements and in turn help with their career advancement. Jill’s efforts have significantly contributed to the image of Aviation Australia in the industry and she is an excellent ambassador for the company.
Steve Jokai, one of our Mechanical Instructors took out the Outstanding Performer – Operational Delivery. Steve continuously empowers and supports students to achieve their full potential. He is consistently improving the learning experience and demonstrates commitment to quality and excellence in teaching and learning. When he walks into the classroom or practical training environment he is 100% focused on the students achieving results.
Both Jill and Steve demonstrate outstanding professional commitment and model exemplary behaviour and integrity in their work.
