Aviation Australia moves into new Victoria training facilities
In August 2015, Aviation Australia established the training facilities at Essendon Fields to help fill a gap in the market and support the growing demand for maintenance training in Victoria. The facility was developed to provide significant experience and expertise for training in aircraft maintenance engineering. In 2018 the Technical department was moved to a separate location in order to cope with increased demand, while we found and negotiated a new facility. Throughout this period we have seen many successful vocational and regulatory outcomes, along with highly positive feedback from Melbourne apprentices and their employers regarding the level of training provided and the instructors. The positive feedback and ever-increasing demand for additional options across the Aviation Australia departments has enabled us to grow and justify a larger and more permanent facility.
The result of great work done by the greater AA team has seen the team in Victoria recently move into the new training facility, still located at Essendon Fields. Adrian and Dave have been working hard to set up the new location which consists of 3 classrooms, the engineering workshop, staff office as well as lunchroom facilities for both staff and students. This move has also allowed Aviation Australia to continue to offer industry-leading training solutions to our customers, but in a new upgraded facility. In addition, we are now able to have all our team back under one roof, with all technical courses and cabin crew theory training now available from this location.
The current Training Products include:
- Aeroskills Cert IV and Diploma block release training
- Engineering Industry training – (Licence Exclusion Removal)
- CASA Regulatory Examination Centre
- Aeroskills Cert IV and Diploma practical assessments
- Cabin Crew theory components

We are excited to welcome our first students to this facility this month and look forward to many more positive outcomes.View news archive
