40% graduated flight attendant class hired by Alliance Airlines
Five students from the recently graduated Flight Attendant Career Training course in Brisbane (FAB3) were successful in securing full-time employment as flight attendants with Alliance Airlines.
Alliance Airlines recruiters were impressed with their outstanding knowledge of the industry, coupled with their confidence and passion for the role.
“They demonstrated genuine passion and commitment for the industry and it was evident that they each had a true desire to be a flight attendant. Their grooming was immaculate, they were confident and well spoken,” said Tracie Deegan, Human Resources Manager, Alliance Airlines.
“Each candidate was also well prepared for the interview, having researched Alliance Airlines and the industry. They came across polished and prepared; consistently impressing the panel of recruiters throughout the morning.”
The Alliance Airlines recruitment drive was held onsite at Aviation Australia on the 07 March, the week after the successful student’s graduation.
There were 21 candidates interviewed in total, 13 of which were from Aviation Australia’s recently graduated flight attendant class.
Aviation Australia has had an affiliation with Alliance Airlines for a number of years, with the relationship strengthening over the past two years with the support of the Alliance Airlines Excellence Award.
“The partnership we have with Aviation Australia allows us to have a high quality candidate pool, which reduces our recruitment time for shortlisting,” said Tracie Deegan.
“The training Aviation Australia provides shines through with well prepared candidates – they have an understanding of the flight attendant role and its demands, as well as an understanding of the industry.”
The new Alliance Airlines employees will commence Ground School at the beginning of May.View news archive
